The Architecture of Shadows

When I wrote The Uninvited about the Screaming House, I wanted to reach the people who might be living through something similar. I wanted them to know they were not alone.

I have been doing this work for a long time. But I have never gathered what I have learned into one place before.

For twenty five years I have walked into houses where something was not right. I have sat with families who did not want attention. They just wanted peace. I have stood in rooms that spoke, crashed, and raged in ways I did not believe were possible until I saw them for myself.

I have experienced haunted places. And I have met haunted people.

I finally put those years into one book.

This is not about chasing things in the dark. It is about asking better questions. About what makes a house feel wrong. And why that feeling sometimes follows you home.

Some of the cases are known. Some I have never spoken about publicly before.

If you have followed my work over the years, this is me putting it plainly. This is what twenty five years taught me.

It is out now.

I know that I will because the whole premise is right up my alley. I have had quite a few of the experiences that you described. Yesterday evening I went to a store that I have shopped in before. But last night it was so full of energy that felt to me otherworldly, causing me to stop and absorb surrounding me.
