I have been saying this for a year and as I see things ramp up it becomes even more serious. Right now I am looking at the United States from the outside and what I see is alarming. The censorship you are experiencing is indescribable. It is happening in a slow boil and that makes it easier for people to justify what is being done. But history has shown us what happens when people ignore the slow boil. It was a slow boil in Nazi Germany. Look what happened there.

My fellow LGBTQ+ friends, the attacks against us are growing stronger. We see it in the laws targeting our care, in the books being banned, in prosecutors turning families into criminals, and in the efforts to strip away marriage equality and our protections. The legal system is being turned against us.

We need a Plan B. That means knowing your legal resources. It means having advocacy groups or lawyers you can reach when needed. It means building a trusted network that checks in on each other. For some, it may mean preparing documents, setting aside savings, or even planning relocation to safer ground.

The time to prepare is now, before the door closes and choices are taken away. The slow boil is real, and if we refuse to see it, history will repeat itself.
