Zombie Road: Research, Truth, and Breaking the Rules

Available on 12-12-25

The research behind Zombie Road is unlike anything I have ever done before. Every chapter has its own bibliography, and the full list of sources runs eleven pages long. I wanted readers to be able to trace the information, explore further if they wish, and see how each thread connects. This same approach will guide all eleven of my upcoming true paranormal books because it gives you a clear and honest view of where the work comes from.

The research for Zombie Road was extensive and precise. Every claim and location was verified through primary and academic sources rather than folklore or hearsay. We spent months in archives and libraries studying maps, property records, and historical documents to trace how the land and its stories evolved. We consulted historians, psychologists, folklorists, and scientists to understand fear, memory, and why people experience what they call hauntings. Even the smallest details were checked and rechecked. The goal was not just accuracy but integrity, building a foundation strong enough to hold both story and truth.

These books step away from what has become familiar in the paranormal world. You will not find the usual television personalities, YouTube storytellers, or self-proclaimed experts here. I have great respect for storytelling, but there is a difference between a story told for entertainment and a study built to explore what might really be happening. I wanted to move the conversation beyond the noise and toward understanding. That meant drawing from people who bring real depth and discipline to the work.

I think you are going to be very happily surprised by these books. They expand the conversation in ways few will expect. Even though they are built on heavy research and verified information, they are still meant to draw you in, to entertain, and yes, to creep you out at times. The stories are alive with atmosphere and humanity. The facts give them shape, but it is the people, the emotions, and the mysteries behind those experiences that will stay with you. These are not dry studies meant to sit on a shelf. They are meant to be read, felt, and questioned.

My goal is not to tell you what to believe but to encourage you to think about what belief means in the first place. Too much of the paranormal world has turned into performance and repetition. These books are not about chasing shadows or pretending to have all the answers. They are about asking the right questions and exploring how those questions shape who we are.

I always want to leave you with one final question. What do you think? That is the heart of it all, because the paranormal is best experienced and understood on a personal level. So I will ask again and again. What do you think?
