As I wrap up the final week of writing Gorilla and prepare to dive into Grace, I can’t help but reflect on how eerily relevant these stories have become. The roots of this series go way back to 1992, when I wrote a play titled House of Grace. Some of what I wrote back then feels almost prophetic now—you’ll see what I mean when you read Grace. Each book in the series is grounded in real ideas, historical events, and themes, weaving them into a larger, gripping narrative that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Let me take you through the journey of the Modern Monsters series:

“It begins.”
Glow (out now) is where it all starts. This book introduces you to the beginning of the nightmare, setting the stage for a modern mystery that will haunt all four books. Yes, you heard that right—four books. The darkness is just getting started.

“Now is the time for monsters.”
