When I woke up this morning, I was all set and ready to tackle whatever needed to be done.

I’ve been around long enough to know that life requires us to be adaptable, always prepared to switch gears when necessary. The biggest hurdle we often face is our own resistance, but hey, we’ve never backed down before and we’re not about to start now.

The fight for equality and freedom is a constant battle, with its ups and downs – it has always been that way in my experience. We make progress, then face setbacks, but it’s that one step forward that we hold onto and use as a springboard for more.

This cycle of progress and challenges is nothing new; we’ve faced it all before. So, let’s tackle this the way we always have: chin up, back straight, walking with pride and bravery. Whatever happens, we must stand strong, stay proud, and keep pushing forward. Remember, giving up is not an option.

Enough said. Time to tune out the noise. The noise distracts. Let’s continue the slow move forward toward equality. Three steps forward. Two steps back. One step remaining toward progress. We got this. We understand resistance. We know the drill.
